I looked it up in the Ferrets For Dummies Book and it says that the average heart rate is 200 and for a healthy fuzzy the heart rate is 215 to 260. It also states that if a ferrets heart rate is exceeding 300 beats per minute it could be possible that it has cardiomyopathy. Just thought I would share what it said.

Thanks,
Megan
