One thing we've noticed through the years is that adjusting meds is
not at all unusual. Sometimes a dose is too little or too much for
given individual, and often things chance as any disease progresses.
It pays to call the treating vet whenever a dose seems off so that it
can be adjusted. That's something vets and physicians just expect to
run into for some, or during the progression of a problem (during
which more tests may be needed, too).
