Subject: Ear Cleaning
I just finished nail clipping, applying Advantage and ear cleaning
times 8 (I'm ready for bed!). Ear cleaning is definitely the most
challeging for my crew, but easier now that I have quit using the
solutions that contain any alcohol - they hate it.
For the past year, I have been using the Avon Skin So Soft bath oil.
I warm a small bowl of it for about 10 seconds in the microwave, dip
the Q-tips in and swab as fast as I can while they lick Ferretone.
I'm hoping ear mites hate Skin So Soft as much as ants and bugs do!
And an added advantage is their ears smell really good.
