Do you know how his eosinophil count looked? There is a condition called
eosinophilic gastroenteritis which causes lingering diarhea. The only
absolute diagnosis is made bu doing an exploratory and taking a sample
of his intestine for the lab, but a lot cheaper way to go is to just
treat for it and see if it works. The treatment is Pediapred and a
change of diet. If you've had him on foods that are based on chicken,
change to Eukanuba Lamb and Rice. You would see a very rapid improvement
if that is the cause.
