Subject: Okay to mix Clavamox with food?
Hi,
I'm currently giving my ferret, Zeus, Clavamox twice a day. He's going to
be on it for a while. He hates it and fights taking it (liquid). Is it
okay to mix the Clavamox in his baby food? I give him a small jar of warmed
up Gerbers chicken baby food each day. Will the Clavamox be as effective if
I do this? I'm trying to lessen the stress of giving him the Clavamox.

Update: I posted about Zeus a few weeks ago - possible kidney failure. Near
death when I took him to my vet. Today, you'd never know he'd been sick.
He's put his weight back on, his fur is soft, and he's walking fine. I was
giving him 100 ML of fluids a day; am not giving him 100 ML every other day.
It's truly amazing. We just didn't think he was going to make it, he was
that weak and that bad. His paws, gums, and ears were all white. They're
back to a healthy pink now.
