You beat me to it, Russ. :)

Yes, I was also told that chicken is the most common ingredient for a
ferret to react to. My Christopher with EG is eating ProPlan Turkey
and Barley and doing great. Dr. Murray also suggested Hills
Prescription Feline d/d and Eukanuba Response Diet Lamb and Rice,
available through your vet. None of these have chicken and the foods
Dr. Murray recommended have good protein and fat levels. For other
foods, read the ingredents lists. I do know that some "beef" foods
include chicken in the ingredients. Go fig.

On a quick note, I have looked into both the Hills and Eukanuba but
unfortunately neither comes in dry form and my Chris will not eat wet
food. Thank you Dr. Murray for the suggestions but it looks like I'll
be supplementing Chris' diet instead of changing it. I hope others
who need this diet don't have to contend with a ferret as picky as my
little brat is.
