Sounds like my Snowy the runny the food they runny the
stool.. the thicker the food ect... I also noticed that
everytime their diet changes so do their stools.. which i
would say it somewhat normal but that's my "guess"

cream?

My question is for all those who are feeding soup to their
fuzzies. Since Icabod has been getting the baby food with
kibble his stool is very soft and if I give him too much
baby food and not enough solid kibble it's runny. Do all
your ferrets who eat the soup constantly have runny stool?
Is it OK to have runny stool long term?

Thanks,
Stephanie

is better for weight gain? what kind of
whipping cream? and won't it hurt them in the long
run? <

I add a dollop of whipping cream to Champ's (renal
failure) soup each feeding. Soup is all he eats
and we have been able to pretty much maintain his
weight for several months. I haven't seen any
side effects from the whipping cream. I don't
think the brand matters. There is regular
whipping cream and heavy whipping cream. I don't
think there is a huge amount of difference
calorie-wise. I just buy whatever is at the
grocery store with the latest expiration date. An
8 oz. container lasts me several weeks.
