Melissa, thank you for responding. We say our vet today. Peytah's
prostate is huge and the discharge is packed with white blood cells
(WBCs; indicates infection). He was given a Baytril injection today
and I will give him one every day till he is seen next Sat. Also, we
are starting him on Anastrozole for the prostate and adrenal problems.
I will let you know how that works.
Everyone is getting along great. It seems these trips to the vet (2
hours one way) are an opportunity for adventure. I stopped for lunch
on the way home and requested my usual drink - water - with my meal.
Peytah was tearing at the lid so I poured a little for him. Imagine my
surprise when I tasted it and discovered it was Sprite! Little booger
was suckin' it down!
