Sandi,
There has been some debate on the list as to whether or not cravings
relate to any sort of deficiency (in people or ferrets) No real proof
either way. If you were feeding either TF or Zupreem alone I would be
willing to put my neck out and say there is no deficiency.. feeding
the combination you are, I'm really willing to say that. Both are
awesome foods.

Some ferrets just like eating stuff. I've got one that eats shoes,
was just talking about one in Canada who eats rubber and will hiss
and throw a fit over the bathtub stopper being taken away. Think it's
just the nature of the ferret to get into what can be gotten into.

You might try providing safe, hard rubber toys, like a dogs buddabone
(sp) or nylabone as a means of distraction, but vigilant supervision
and laxatone are going to be your best lines of defense.
