Subject: MEGACE
I had recently gotten some information about Megace in connection with an
adrenal gland problem with our ferret. Our ferret has had the left gland
removed, but is again displaying signs of adrenal disease. The research I've
done relating to ferrets has only had information on appetite stimulation,
nothing about Adrenal gland disease. On the internet in general there is
practically nothing ferret-related at all. Is Megace safe?
Should it be used on ferrets, and how much? Where can it be obtained? Are
there any side effects? We really don't want to put her through surgery
again, and we are looking for any possible alternatives - Thank You for
whatever help you can give.
