Linoleum or vinyl flooring is inexpensive and easy to clean, but can be
slippery depending on where in the cage is it placed. Also you can get bath
rugs which can be easily washed, just watch that the ferrets don't chew or
ingest the rubber backing, and I don't use the "shag" type, the claws can get
caught.
