Subject: adrenal surgery&Hormone replacement
Hello everyone! I have 2 wonderful ferrets that had adrenal
surgery this month. Left adrenals removed, and the right
cryo'd. They came through with flying colors thank GOD! My
question is, will they need hormone replacement drugs? What
kinds of tests will tell me for sure?. I 've read so much
about other ferrets on hormones after surgery, my vet did not
mention it either way, except for my girl to have hormones for
2 weeks after surgery. Thank you for your help.
