I would also be interested in knowing why, since I also use the
spoonful of "sugar" makes the medicine go down method of
administering pred. According to my bottle of ferretone here, the
ingredients are:

soybean oil
cod liver oil
lecithin
wheat germ oil
Vitamin A supplement
Vitamin D3 supplement
Vitamin E supplement
Pyridoxine Hydrochloride
Biotin
Mono and Diglycerides (are these the culprits?)
BHT and Propyl paraben (preservatives)

Linatone is pretty similar, with a few more ingredients thrown in.
Any comments from the nutrition people?
