I do believe that this is exactly what's going on in most adrenal
disease cases and it's why Lupron works to suppress the symptoms of
the disease. Lupron desensitizes the pituitary and thereby stops it
from pumping out two hormones, FSH and LH. This in turn causes the
adrenals to stop pumping out androgens. Viola, symptoms diminish.

It's hard to tell, but the way it's stated in your post makes it
sound like he's saying this is a normal occurance. It's not of
course but the basic statement about the pituitary is accurate.
