Subject: Sterling
Hi everyone,
It is with heavy heart that I write to say that we had to help
Sterling cross the bridge this past Monday afternoon. His
struggle with insulinoma just became too much for him. He was
on the maximum dosage of pred and proglycem, being fed around
the clock, and continued to have horrible episodes. He had
surgery only 2 1/2 months ago and his recovery never really
happened - he only became worse with time. Sterling was only
4 1/2 years old. We miss you little buddy!
Thanks to Dr Williams and everyone for support and advice when
I had questions about his diagnosis and treatment plans. We
greatly appreciate it. I only wish there had been something
else we could have done for him. We miss him greatly.
