My little guy Gizmo loves coke as well. He managed to get a glass of
it off the coffee table one day and lapped up a large amount (for a
ferret). Afterwards he experienced a very severe bout of diarrhea.
If your ferret didn't have any side effects, then he's probably
okay. You will just have to ensure that he can't get to any more
unattended glasses of soda. We now have to "ferret proof" all food
and drink containers, because of the little leapers and climbers.
Ferret + couch + coke on coffee table + short jump = worried human +
carbonated ferret diarrhea.
