I've got Silk, who has been diagnosed with Leukemia for almost a year. She is
doing well on prednisolone 2x daily. Its not viral and can't be transmitted
to other ferrets. (Thats a very good thing, as she is caged with my other
shelter kids). When it was out of control, her WC was 51,000! Her dosage is
1/4 of a 5mg tablet. She takes it very well, suspended in ferretone. Silk
also has seizures and is on phenobarbital.

HTH.
