Subject: Doc Williams.. adrenal/hormone sup.

Just a question(s)...

If both adrenals have been removed and the ferret does not need
hormone
supplements does this mean cells still remain? I read a post
yesterday that
said this is true. If it isn't true, why then would they not need
the
supplement? How are they producing the hormone w/out the glands?
