Subject: Peptic Ulcers, and giving medicine
Jay, my 5 year old, with adrenal and insulimomia also has a peptic
ulcer. Since Saturday, I have been trying to give her the prescribed
medicine. To me, it appears she is not getting enough to heal the
ulcer. Her stool is still black.
I have tried scruffing her and giving it. I am afraid she will gag on
it when I do it. It seems she still can spit most of the medicine
out.
If she has been on the medicine, now for 2 days, should I expect to
see a change in the color of her stool?
