Subject: Hacking ? for vets and Thank You
First, I wanted to say a giant thank you to everyone for all
your help. This list has been just awesome in learning and
support. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Now, for my newest question. Icabod, who is on Pred and Lupron
for Insulinoma and Adrenal, has just started this weird
hacking thing. The other day we were taking a nap and he was
sleeping on my chest when all of the sudden he started
hacking. It was like what a cat does with a furball. I then
heard him do it again the next day and then again last night
(three days in a row). He is eating, drinking, urinating and
pooping OK.
I wanted to give him something for furballs, but with
Insulinoma those aren't allowed. I remember somebody saying
something about Vaseline, but then thought if that was for
real. I just can't imagine EATING petroleum jelly. If that is
for real, how much and do you mix it with anything?
Does this sound like furballs? Has anyone else experienced it?
Could it be something else? I am going to call my vet today,
but would like to hear from all of you also.
