All of my ferrets love Ferretone. It's the consistency like veggie
oil. It is
also a yellow/tan color. The directions say to put it on food. But,
since
it's an oil, it spoils and spoils the food. It also makes for a
greasy mess.
I've noticed that it has a malt smell. What I do with mine is put
some in a
little squeeze bottle and let them lick from that. I do take a
bottle with me
when they go on trips. And it really helps at the vet.
