Hi Mike

Jilly has probably had a gradual decline of blood glucose but wasn't showing
signs and then she suddenly crashed. I gave her some honey to stop her from
crashing more. It seems she gets low sugar about an hour after eating, is
that normal? A few hours later she is just fine, she just gets low after
food... She's been alright now, I thought the increase of the pred from 1mg
to 1.5mg wasn't helping her but I guess it takes a few days before the pred
starts working and now it's started to work and she hasn't got low again.

She's never had seizures, when she gets low she runs around like a headless
chicken like she's scared of the low sugar, she keeps falling over on her
side, and eventually she runs out of strength and sort of collapses, she has
been unconscious a few times over the last 2 years but hasn't had any
lasting damage from it... But she hasn't been bad like this for about 1 1/2
months and she's alright again, I'm scared what'll happen when she gets the
highest possible doage and goes low on that...
