This has only occurred twice in a two-week period? Was it pure
mucous with no stool in it at all? Back around 1990 I had a ferret
(Max) that randomly pooped pure mucous. We went through all the
tests and tried various treatments, to no avail. I don't recall how
long it lasted, but it eventually resolved on its own. That's not to
say you should just let this go and it will clear up.
I wish I had an answer for you, but it doesn't sound like ECE or any
of the usual things we deal with.
