You did your best. Vets who are ignorant of ferrets are the rule rather
than the exception. I expect there are 40 vets in Panama City, FL
and maybe 2 of them are ferret knowledgible. Their schools just
don't require
them to learn ferrets. Something that needs to change if you ask me.
