I am glad she is doing better now.

I know something that helps my mouth when it has a sore or I have wounded
myself with a fork. That is rinsing my mouth with a mix of baking soda and
water.

The baking soda cuts the natural acidity of the mouth.

But for the life of me I don't know how you might do this, maybe a quick
squirt with a dropper?

Anyway, for what it is worth.
