MF = Marshall Farms, PV = Path Valley (two large breeders of pet
ferrets) and WS = Waardenburg Syndrome. WS is genetic and can result
in deafness and the white stripes you see on ferrets (Blazes).
I watched a Charlie Chan movie last night in which one of the
characters had a perfect white blaze right down the middle of his
black hair. Looked just like a ferret!
