Subject: Polycythemia Vera

My 4 year old male ferret was recently diagnosed with polycythemia
vera (many thanks to Dr. Williams). We will be starting therapeutic
phlebotomy on him this week.

I was just wondering if anyone on this list has had any experience
with this disease. I have been unable to find anything, anywhere.
Including all those sites Sukie recently sent out.

I know it's very rare in ferrets, but I'd appreciate any input you
may have. You can respond to me privately at my4ferrets@c... if
you wish.
