???Adrenal???

Well I am not Bruce... and I am not even a vet, nor do I play
one on TV.
I am, however, a shelter operator with many years around
ferrets and I can tell you that when one walks through the
door with the description you gave.
Boom.. Adrenal Disease is first thought.
Here's some links to Adrenal (including Bruce's) and please
find a ferret knowledgeable vet to look at him in person and
possibly do the surgery.

Bruce William's, could I please have your advise? I have a
female ferret
with abdominal extension, symmetrical hair thinning over her
tail and
rump with more hair loss at the base of the tail up into the
rump, she
eats very well and will chase me for Bob C gravy or raisins
and has
become rather aggressive to the other ferrets.
