I also have a blaze-Bibby-When I purchased him the pet store said I
was
crazy. He was wild and bit. The pet store would not guarantee him.
Bibby is
now 2years old and one of my best ferrets. I have found that you
can get a
deaf ferrets attention by tapping on the floor. So every time I go
to let
him out of his cage, I tap the cage to let him know I am
there-because we all
know that ferrets can't see. He has learned that the tapping means
he comes
out. I have also used it to stop his biting. When he was just a
baby, I
would tap the floor every time he bit and put him in his cage. I
guess he
assoicates the tapping as commucation, because now when he wants my
attention-he runs up my back and starts pawing in my hair-what a
great
ferret. Ha!
