I wanted to thank everyone for your help and suggestions. Just to
clarify a
few things: I have had 2 set of x-rays done in the last month as
well as a
full physical exam both times. The vet said his heart looked good,
he has no
fluid buildup anywhere, and his lungs sounded good. He is active and
full of
himself. He gets his heart worm medication every month. Not that I
would
completely rule out possible heart problems but right now it doesn't
appear
to be the problem. He has been doing well since yesterday morning.
Last
night he didn't wheeze at all! Hopefully this means he is getting
better.
This morning he was full of zip, speed racing around my room,
begging, war
dancing, dooking and making mince meat of my socks, not to mention
helping me
make my bed while doing "aires above ground" ! Raider was watching
this all
from a safe distance, not wanting to become the chew toy! Can't say
I blame
him!
I can honestly say nothing melts your heart more than those big eyes
staring
up at you when they want up! ( Even if its just to get a better look
at the
cool stuff on the shelves or to get a free tour of the forbidden
room)!
