Subject: Flea Treatment - Carpets

I found that the best treatment was a boric acid powder I got from my
vet, when I moved into a first floor apartment in a sandy area, and the
fleas were so bad I took dozens off each fuzzy twice a day !!! I
sprinkled it on, swept it in with a broom, let sit 24 HRS and vacuumed -
after two weeks I never saw another flea, and it lasted until I moved,
almost a year later, and did not harm the little carpet huggers.
