The thing that I have found puts weight on ferrets quickest is STAT
or Dyne. Both are basically the same, but Dyne is usually cheaper.
My guys usually will not take either straight from the bottle, so I
mix it with a little water, or mix some in a 'Duck Soup' type
mixture. They are very rich, thick, cream colored liguids.
I do not reccommend using Dyne or STAT as a regular part of a healthy
ferret's diet, though. While they are high calorie, they do not meet
the nutritional needs of a ferret, and so should only be used when
needed to help with a specific problem. You can usually get either
STAT or Dyne from a vet, or they can be purchased online from Revival
Animal Health. The URL is:

Hope this information helps.
