You are just calculating the weight wrong. 1 kg= 2.2 lbs
so for a 2.38 lb ferret (this is 2 lbs 6oz, not 2lb 3.8oz)
the ferret weighs about 1kg. SO do the calculations based on
that. The dose for Biaxin is quite high, anyway for children
with ear infections it is about 30mg/kg/day- maybe this is
higher for Heliobacter??
