Subject: Mikey's Diet

The most common food allergy among ferrets seems to be to chicken so
try a food based on turkey or on lamb. If you have used one of those
mostly try something else. Sources of allergies vary among
individuals, so it may take several tries to find something workable.

That heart rate may hopefully just be his personal norm, too, as per
earlier vet replies. We all have our variations. We had one girl in
the past who always had such a high rate that she was projected to
die young and was considered borderline hyperthyroid. Instead, she
just remained a very active ferret who was slight-sleeper and active
about twice as many waking hours as any ferret for her entire long
and full life.

Well, take a deep breath and accept congratulations because that
sounds like normal ferret play with dancing that got so exciting that
he had a spell of the itchies.
