Subject: [Ferret-Health-list] My deaf guy

S,

I too have a deaf ferret that in the beginning was very bitey. I used the
I'm going to pretend I'm his mom theroy. I would take him by the scruff and
shake him (gently of course)while saying no and it worked very well. It only
took a few times until he caught on that I didn' like his behavior.He is
nothing but a sweetheart now and has been for 5.5 years. K.M----- Original
