Subject: Sore in ferret's mouth

Hi All -

Question: My 1 year old male ferret Rocky developed bad breath a few days
ago. I looked in his mouth tonight and noticed something that looks like a
cankor sore on the rear roof of his mouth. It almost looks like the spot(s)
a human might get on their tonsil's (sp?) when sick with strep
throat/tonsilitis. He's seems to be feeling fine, eating and drinking okay,
etc. I plan to call the vet tomorrow and make an appt. for Monday. Any ideas
on what this could be? Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Thank you,
Noelle
