I've used it once under semi-similar circumstances. I lost a wonderful
guy named Bullet to a combination of insulinoma (he had had surgery twice
and wasn't getting benefit from pred and diazoxide any longer) and gastric
ulcers (didn't know about the ulcers until his necropsy, sure did learn a
lot from that poor boy). Anyway, in his final days, he had problems with
his stomach getting really distended with air. We could hear it rumbling,
feel it get tight at times, and he was pretty gassy, poor little guy. We
gave him gas-x (active ingredient simethicone), and it really did seem to
help make him lots more comfortable until we decided to let him go.

Be very curious to see if others have used this! :)
