Unless they are closely related the chances of having multiple
ferrets with the same allergies are vanishingly small, so -- since
you mentioned "they" I'll have to say it's likely "something else"
unless they are very closely related (sibs, parent and child, etc.).
I don't know any reason to assume that there may not be a ferret out
there which is allergic to something in Ferretone, but haven't heard
of it. Then again, I have read of one ferret who is allergic to
catnip -- but only of one. (I am not a vet; just someone who has had
19 years with ferrets and lot of experience with allergies.)
