Yes, a blockage has been ruled out. I took him to K-State
Vet Med. They did x-rays and a sonogram. The x-rays revealed
megaesophagus. He vomits up almost anything he eats at this
point. I don't think he can hang on much longer. The
sonogram revealed thickened stomach and intestinal walls and
enlarged mesenteric lymph nodes. He is now on Zantac and
reglan along with the pred and carafate.
