Subject: Re: Ferret poo

Maggie does not seem to be "outputting" as much poo as she use to. She eats Bob's Chicken Gravy for breakfast every morning, has a few treats, and that's about it. She doesn't seem to be eating much kibble (TF mixed with The Ferret Store brand).
I noticed on Sunday that her poos were very tiny.
She is drinking and her activity level is normal, except this morning she declined her usual treat (took it and put it on the floor and layed down next to it)and put herself to bed. She might be sleeping a bit more than usual.
Maggie's not a chewer really but does groom herself quite a bit. She will be 4 years old in August.
Any ideas what could be going on? She has been taking her Ferret Lax 2 to 3 times per week. She's a tiny little lady, only about 1 to 1 1/4 pounds and there has been no noticable weight loss. There'a a part of me that thinks how much should a little girl poo but then there's a part that thinks she could have a hairball in her tummy.
Thanks!
Connie, Butch, and Maggie (can't a girl get a little privacy here in the litter box?)
