Subject: Lupron side effects
Brutus, who had 1 1/2 adrenal gland removed in Jan 2000, and pancreatic
surgery several months ago, started Lupron shots last Friday. He was
lethargic and had to be encouraged to eat on Sat and still has decreased
appetite today. He was grinding his teeth Saturday, so I started Carafate,
which has helped. He is also getting prednisone for the insulinoma. I know
the possible side effects of lupron therapy for humans. Have any of you seen
adverse effects from Lupron in ferrets, and if so, how did you treat them?
