Subject: Re: Bruce Williams Please. ???Adrenal???

Hi everyone,

An update on Fleur.
It was going to cost damn near as much for an equivalent blood test to
the Tennessee Panel here in New
Zealand as for the operation so we went straight for the op.
Now, my Dr K. was hard pushed to see any difference between the left and
right adrenal. Both looked pretty
much normal with the left looking only SLIGHTLY larger that the right.
So his thinking was that there was no
point in closing her without doing something so he removed the left
adrenal. He was going to do something
about the Lipoma but it is well distributed through-out her belly so
left it. He said if it was actually
adrenal that will resolve itself. She is recovering beautifully and
trashed her cage first night home. Dr K.
said only time will tell now. Adrenal or not adrenal. That is the
question? Quack quack! :o)

Sure sounds adrenal - if it looks like a duck, and quacks like a
duck, ... If you really aren't sure, run the Tennessee panel. Is
her vulva swollen at all?
