Subject: furosemide
My question is: Hershey has been on prednisone for a back injury
for about 15
days and all of a sudden he started retaining fluid in his body
tissue. My
vet put him on furosemide. I was wondering why he would start
retaining
fluid. I am feeding him his regular food with Nura-stat in it mix
half with
water-blended up, everything else seems to give him diahrea. He
won't eat by
himself, so I have been feeding. He hasnt lost any weight. Does he
need more
proten and least water. What is up?Help!!
