Erica,
A few months ago I brought home a baby ferret which ended up
infecting my 3
year old ferret with ECE. The doctor put her on amoxicillin and
told me that
if she wouldn't eat the baby food to try adding a little bit of
water to her
dry ferret food. He also said to get her kitten chow add a little
water to
make it soft for her, but make sure I kept feeding her water. She
would only
drink the water when cupped it in my hand, so you might want to try
that.
The moistened food was the only thing I was able to get her to eat.
And for a
few days she would only eat a few pieces at a time. Good luck with
your
ferret.
