Subject: Flutamide
We have two ferrets with enlarged prostates impeding urinary flow. One has
had to have his bladder drained manually on two occasions. The other is not
getting much buildup, but is straining and uncomfortable. Both are getting
Lupron, but Flutamide has been suggested as an adjunct treatment. Our vet
would like another opinion on dosage before prescribing. We would appreciate
a suggested dose (by weight?) and frequency.
