Her hair is growing back on her tummy where the vet had to shave her but she
is losing massive amounts of hair. She now has short short dark hairs in
place of her long full hair. Is this normal or what??"
After my male had his adrenal surgery, he continued losing his hair until
most of it was gone. He almost immediately started growing short dark hair,
of course it got lighter as it got longer, it was the tips of the hair that I
was seeing first. My vet told me it could happen, and may take until the
next growth cycle to return to normal. He had surgery in April and now he
looks completely normal, and his hair is softer than it was prior to tumor
removal.
