You could ask which ever state dept. keeps track of that in your area
(if your state ones do follow it). In some states -- not all -- they
seem to keep vets up on it when it gets really bad, too, so asking
your vet is the first step. Of course, vets might encounter some pets
with it when it's around and talk among themselves about that, though
the non-clients who won't vaccinate are less likely to try to treat.
(Steve and I both have some relatives like that and it drives us
bonkers.) If that info is gathered but isn't shared widely then it's
time to play phone trampoline where you bounce from one office to
another till you find the right one for your needs.
