Personally, I wish the ADV ELISA test would catch 100% of the
positives *and* 5% of the negatives. Any ferret testing positive on
ELISA could then be double-checked with CEP testing to confirm the
true positive status.

Right now, even if 100% of all the ferrets in the world are tested
with ELISA, there are still 5% that are truly positive and their
owners (substitute "show competitors", "breeders", "hobbyists", etc.)
have no clue.
