Hi Ann,
It is hard to answer your questions about Lupron
with out knowing the dose your ferret was getting.
However it may take several months after surgery
or after Lupron to regrow the fur. If both the left and
right gland were completely removed then there should
be no adrenal gland to overproduce the hormones and
cause problems. However sometimes not all of the right
gland is removed, and the problem returns when the right
gland "regrows." If that becomes the case then Lupron can be
used or another surgery attempted.
