I guess high insulin levels means overproduction, most likely from an
insulinoma,
so I guess in borderline or hard to diagnose cases it will help make the
diagnosis,
However, if you have a low blood sugar to start with, not borderline, I
don't think
you need the insulin levels. Just an adjunct in making the diagnosis.
